Welcome to Blukel, an independent educational website that helps Nigerian students and their families understand the JAMB and admission process. Whether you are about to register for the UTME, waiting for your result, choosing a subject combination or trying to make sense of the JAMB portal, our goal is to give you clear, practical and easy-to-follow guidance.
Why We Created Blukel
Every admission season, thousands of candidates search for answers online and find confusing, outdated or misleading information. Some end up paying agents for things that are free, sharing private details with strangers or missing deadlines because they did not understand the process. We created Blukel to offer a simpler alternative: honest, step-by-step guides written in plain language that anyone can follow.
What We Cover
Our articles are organised into four main areas:
- JAMB Results: how to check your result, what to do when it is withheld or missing, what a good score means and how long a result stays valid.
- JAMB Portal Guides: creating a profile, linking your NIN, correcting your details, checking admission status and responding to offers.
- JAMB Syllabus & Subjects: subject combinations for popular courses and study guides for key subjects.
- JAMB CBT Practice: practice tips, study methods and exam-day advice for the computer-based test.
Our Approach
- Plain language. We explain things in simple terms, step by step, without unnecessary jargon.
- Practical focus. Each guide aims to help you take action, with checklists, examples and common mistakes to avoid.
- Honesty about uncertainty. JAMB and schools change their rules, fees and procedures often. Where details can change, we say so and point you to official sources instead of pretending to be certain.
- Safety first. We warn readers about scams and remind them never to share passwords, codes or private details with agents.
- No false promises. We do not sell exam questions, we do not promise admission and we do not claim that anyone can guarantee a score.
Please Verify With Official Sources
Blukel is not part of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised to speak for JAMB, any university, polytechnic or other institution. Our articles are for general information and preparation only. Fees, dates, requirements and procedures change from year to year, so please always confirm important details on the official JAMB website (jamb.gov.ng) and on the website of the school you are applying to before you pay, register or submit anything.
Corrections and Updates
We want our guides to be as accurate and useful as possible. If you spot outdated information or an error, please let us know through our Contact Us page, mentioning the article and the section, and we will review it.
